Author Dinner Party collab with The Silver Unicorn bookstore, Groton

We’re so excited to be collaborating with the Silver Unicorn Bookstore in Acton for an amazing author dinner event at Third Space Kitchen!

The Third Space Kitchen team will serve up a delicious menu focused on winter comfort food while sharing cooking techniques and involving guests at key points through the meal. Guests will choose between a vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu.

1st Course:
Winter vegetable quiche (courtesy of Theo’s Market Gardens, formerly: SpringDell Farms) accompanied by Griffin Hall Farms microgreens

Main Course
Skillet sausages from Blood Farm served with crispy Lyonnaise Potatoes
Veg Option: Roasted eggplant with za’atar, pomegranate seeds and tahini
Dessert Course
Chocolate and Orange Mousse with Sea Salt

We’ll be joined by three local authors, Adrienne BrodeurKerri Maher, and Ben Purkert, whose new books Little MonstersAll You Have to Do Is Call, and The Men Can’t Be Saved, respectively, represent three of the best fiction releases of 2023.

Each author will rotate from table to table with each course of the meal, so that each attendee gets to spend time with each author.

A book is included as part of your ticket purchase. Additional books may be requested by emailing Third Space Kitchen at classes@thirdspacekitchen.com. Please include your order number.

This is a BYOB (beer, wine or cider) event. If you’d like pairing advice, ask us about our pickup options with The Barn Door in Pepperell or Jack O’Lantern Liquors in Ayer by contacting classes@thirdspacekitchen.com.

Our classes typically run about 2 hrs. It will be specified in the description if a class intends to run shorter or longer. Copies of all recipes are provided.

Unless specified, classes are for adults and teens 16+. For these classes, younger students may attend when accompanied by a paid adult. Classes for younger teens and children have the appropriate ages specified in the description.

The Chef Instructor may change due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts. We reserve the right to make changes to our menus; ingredients and class menu may change due to availability.

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back. Aprons are provided for use in class.

Adult classes are BYOB/BYOW. If you are 21+ participating in a class intended for adults, please plan to drink responsibly. Otherwise, No outside food or drink.

Notify us if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Third Space is a peanut/tree nut safe kitchen, however ingredients may be processed in a facility or on shared equipment with tree nuts, peanuts or other allergens. Please contact us before you register and we are happy to review ingredients with you to determine whether this class is appropriate.

We want to support all of our learners so please let us know if you have any special needs you’d like us to be aware of.

What’s our class cancellation policy? Due to limited enrollment, classes are non-refundable. If for any reason up until the time of your class (including illness) you are unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place by notifying us of your replacement. Alternatively, with 7 days notice, you can contact us to make up the class at a later time. If we need to cancel a class for any reason, a full refund will be provided.
