Chicken is such a versatile staple food. In this class, Chef Joe Maglio will teach you tips and tricks he’s learned throughout his career working at venues like Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and as a chef to celebrities while using a whole chicken to cook three delicious recipes.

In this class you will learn the skill of creating multiple dishes from one whole chicken. If you have family members that often ask “What’s for dinner?” this is the class to build your chicken menu basics! (sign those family members up, too!)

In this hands-on class learn the skills needed to debone a whole chicken and that into great dishes such as 

  • Chicken escarole soup from homemade chicken stock
  • Sautéed Chicken Marsala
  • Chicken Teriyaki with housemade sauce


This is a Hands-On class of simple theories and techniques of cooking for even a novice. All classes are served family style With Chef choice of vegetables and starch.

Our classes typically run about 2 hrs. It will be specified in the description if a class intends to run shorter or longer. Copies of all recipes are provided.

Unless specified, classes are for adults and teens 16+. For these classes, younger students may attend when accompanied by a paid adult. Classes for younger teens and children have the appropriate ages specified in the description.

The Chef Instructor may change due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts. We reserve the right to make changes to our menus; ingredients and class menu may change due to availability.

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back. Aprons are provided for use in class.

Adult classes are BYOB/BYOW. If you are 21+ participating in a class intended for adults, please plan to drink responsibly. Otherwise, No outside food or drink.

Notify us if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Third Space is a peanut/tree nut safe kitchen, however ingredients may be processed in a facility or on shared equipment with tree nuts, peanuts or other allergens. Please contact us before you register and we are happy to review ingredients with you to determine whether this class is appropriate.

We want to support all of our learners so please let us know if you have any special needs you’d like us to be aware of.

What’s our class cancellation policy? Due to limited enrollment, classes are non-refundable. If for any reason up until the time of your class (including illness) you are unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place by notifying us of your replacement. Alternatively, with 7 days notice, you can contact us to make up the class at a later time. If we need to cancel a class for any reason, a full refund will be provided.
