Waiver of Liability

In consideration of participating in Third Space’s cooking classes (Esquared Hospitality Ventures LLC), I (parent or guardian of the registered attendee or myself) acknowledge and understand the dangers and risks inherent in such activities related to preparing food, consuming certain foods and working with tools and appliances.

I hereby waive, release, and discharge Third Space and Esquared Hospitality Ventures LLC, its instructors, officers, employees and volunteers against any and all claims, demands, action or causes of action for costs, medical expenses or damages to personal property or personal injury, or death, which may result from my participation or my child’s participation in these activities.

In the event of any lawsuit, the parties agree to submit any dispute for resolution by arbitration and any award rendered, if any, shall be final and conclusive to the parties.

I assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages resulting from my participation or my child’s participation in this program including responsibility for using reasonable judgment in all phases of participation of the program.

I acknowledge that my participation or child’s participation is solely at my or their own risk, and that I assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries and damages.

I understand that it is my responsibility to notify the appropriate person in the workplace or event host(s) of emergency medical information and have informed the instructor of ANY food allergies/or dietary restrictions for my child or myself.

I also understand that this Waiver of Liability and Release binds my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns as well as myself.

Media Release

I consent to and allow any use and reproduction of any and all photographs or videotapes taken of my child or myself during their or my participation.

I agree to their right to use or reproduce such photographs and videotape in any media including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, the website or future name or unnamed media account property. If I do not wish to have photographs or videos used or taken, I will notify Third Space in writing prior to class via email at support / at / thirdspacekitchen / dot / com.

Classes & Policies

Our classes typically run about 2 hrs. It will be specified in the description if a class intends to run shorter or longer. Copies of all recipes are provided.

Unless specified, classes are for adults and teens 16+. For these classes, younger students may attend when accompanied by a paid adult. Classes for younger teens and children have the appropriate ages specified in the description.

The Chef Instructor may change due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts. We reserve the right to make changes to our menus; ingredients and class menu may change due to availability.

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back. Aprons are provided for use in class.

Adult classes are BYOB/BYOW. If you are 21+ participating in a class intended for adults, please plan to drink responsibly. Otherwise, No outside food or drink.

Notify us if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Third Space is a peanut/tree nut safe kitchen, however ingredients may be processed in a facility or on shared equipment with tree nuts, peanuts or other allergens. Please contact us before you register and we are happy to review ingredients with you to determine whether this class is appropriate.

We want to support all of our learners so please let us know if you have any special needs you’d like us to be aware of.

Class Cancellation: Due to limited enrollment, classes are non-refundable. If for any reason up until the time of your class (including illness) you are unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place by notifying us of your replacement. If we need to cancel a class for any reason, a full refund will be provided.

For Private Events, including but not limited to Team-building, private classes, birthday parties, community organized events, non-profit fundraisers and events and more:

Cancellation 4 weeks or more prior to the event: Full payment refund via check minus transaction fees.

Cancellation 2 weeks or more prior to the event: 50% payment refund via check minus transaction fees.

Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to the event: Payment non-refundable.

Camp/Special Program Cancellation:

For Summer Camp specifically, two weeks or more we will be able to issue a refund minus booking transaction fees. For upcoming camps two weeks out or less, you may transfer your signup to another participant. Please email classes@thirdspacekitchen if you need to cancel. 

Third Space Kitchen Camp Cancellations

Third Space Kitchen cancels a program completely, we will do a full refund for that program. 

Missed Days of a Program or Series

We understand that people have a lot of commitments and can’t always make each day of a multi-day program or series.  Please understand that we still have to pay instructors, building fees, order supplies, etc for our programs so we do not pro-rate, refund or credit programs for days that you miss. 

Serious Illness or Injury

In some situations we may be able to issue a refund for remaining days of a program if you are unable to attend a program because of a serious illness or injury if written medical verification from your physician is received within 7 days. 

Inappropriate Behavior

If a person is dismissed from a program because of inappropriate or aggressive behavior, no refund will be issued.

By registering for any class (or classes), I agree to and accept the above terms.
